This decision was adopted pursuant to Regulation 305\/2011 laying down harmonised conditions for the marketing of construction products. The main objective is to update the list of European Assessment Documents adopted by the Organisation for Technical Assessment Bodies (a coordinating structure that brings together and organises the national bodies of each Member State designated to carry out European Technical Assessments (ETAs) of construction products). The products covered by these EADs include, in particular, kits for battery locking systems with radio option, spherical and cylindrical bearings with special polyamide and modified polyethylene materials, as well as various other construction structures and components.
